No. The main unit has an internal battery that can monitor the boat for up to 40 days. The internal battery is charged via the boat's battery when the engine is running or the boat is connected to shore power.

SmartBoat One is designed to use as little power as possible to retrieve and send data about your boat.

Because of this, the system can run for 40 days without any external power.

Yes. Integrated into the main unit, there is a global sim card that selects the network that provides the best coverage where the boat is located.

This sim card cannot be replaced as it is directly integrated to the cloud services essential for the system to function as designed.

The sensors measure once every second. If the values fall outside the set limits, the system sends an alarm and you will receive a notification on your mobile phone.

There are two modes for the system:

When the boat is not in use, data is sent once an hour
When the boat is in use, data is sent once every minute

If one of the sensors goes off in alarm, the system will send data immediately regardless of whether the boat is in use or not

SmartBoat One is designed to help monitor 12 and 24 volt lead-acid batteries  and will automatically adjust the alarm values to fit the battery voltage.

The system can be connected to 12V and 24V lithium batteries as well, but the voltage notifications will be set to the standard levels used maintaining lead-acid batteries.

You can choose from three subscription types:

- Annual: EUR 108,- per year, paid in advance (EUR 9,-/ month)

- Seasonal: EUR 81,- per year (full overview of the boat's systems from 1st April to October 31st), paid in advance

- Monthly: EUR 12,- per month. When it comes to monthly subscriptions, you activate and deactivate this as needed. This is not a binding agreement, and you pay per month.

The following link is used to sign in to the customer portal: https://my.sensarmarine.com/

Here you can sign in with the same username and password that you use for the Sensar Marine app.
You will always have an overview of your active subscription and previous payment history in the customer portal. You can also change payment cards and change or stop the current subscription.

Yes, there will be a recurring subscription for the different subscription types.

You pay in advance for further monitoring and the subscription periods for annual or seasonal subscriptions are 12 months. If you do not change the subscription type in the customer portal, the new agreement period will automatically be continued until the next agreement period. When it comes to monthly subscriptions, you activate and deactivate this as needed. This is not a binding agreement, and you pay per month.

If a new owner is to take over the SmartBoat One system, the following must be done:
You must first "release" the device so that the new boat owner can add their boat. You must therefore delete your boat in the Sensar Marine app. You do this under "My boats" and press "Delete boat". Once the previous owner has deleted their boat in the app, the new owner can connect the device and create their user in the app.

If the new owner is to take over the SmartBoat One system, he or she must pair the device and create a new user account. The previous owner may then have to give the pairing code to the new owner (if you still have this card). The pairing code is also on the sticker on the back of the main unit itself.

The current subscription period will follow the device. The current agreement period will therefore be transferred to a new owner. The new owner must create their own user and enter payment information and the desired subscription solution ( The subscription choice is sent by e-mail to the customer when you have created your own user and connected it to the device). The new agreement period will then follow the new owner's subscription type.
