Accessories
Your boat may require some additional equipment to correctly install the sensor system. Shop extension cables for each individual sensor, as well as extra sensors available to customize SmartBoat Core
Extension for the Water Module
The Water Module comes with a 1.5 m cable connected directly to the sensor. If that cable cannot reach your bilge, then you'll need this extension cable.
This extension cable has 5 pins and is available in 3 lengths: 1.5 m, 3 m, and 6 m. The system supports extension with up to two extension cables (12 m max).
Extension for the Battery Cable
The cable set that comes with SmartBoat One is 2 meters long. If you need to reach further than 2 m to get to your boat batteries, then you will need this extension cable.
The cable has 4 pins and is avalable in 3 lengths: 1.5 m, 3 m, and 6 m. The system supports extension with up to five cables (30 m max).
Extension for the Bilge Pump Cable
If you can reach your batteries with the standard cable, but need something more to get to your bilge pump, then you need this cable.
This extension cable can only connect to the wire which connects to the bilge pump. It comes in only a 3 m length. The system supports extension with up to 5 extension cables (15 m max).
Additional Sensors
Only SmartBoat Core customers can consider adding extra sensors that don't come standard in that monitoring package.
Water Module
The Water Module is an advanced sensor system which mounts vertically on the wall where water collects in the bilge. Its network of sensors give you an exact water level measurement between 0 and 15cm.
The device also contains two temperature sensors. The first is placed in the bottom of the device. If water is present in the boat, this will read the water temperature. The other is placed on the top of the device, and will give the air temperature in the bilge.
